Food impressions of Internorga Hamburg

Just like last year my mum and I paid a visit to the all so popular (at least for the northern-german gastronomes) fair for "Außer-Haus-Markt". It takes place in Hamburg and lasts for 6 days - filled with the newest innovations by known companies like Unilever, Nespresso, Jura, Wienerwald, etc. The list goes on and on with brands you know from the supermarket or the news. Surprising for us was Unilevers's booth. Just then we realized how many food brands they actually own. Companies as them had pompuos designs and stalls: known chefs and food critics were organizing various attractions for the visiters: live cooking shows, competitions and lotteries as well b-list celebrities... Of course my mum went to meet and talk to her distrubitors for cake and food ingredients. Exactly this let to numerous tastings of the newest cakes on the market (which were all delicious), perfected meat-arrangements (yummy!) but included the tasting of sauces and stocks as well which I have never tasted on its own before (and I`d rather not do that again).
All in all it was the perfect event for both of us which we left with plus 100.000 calories and a level of coffeine only George Clooney during his commercial for nespresso could understand.
