turning 25

we flew the town for a day trip to berlin. it took us 2.5 hours and one really bad coffee stop on the autobahn to arrive. we walked around tempelhofer feld until our faces felt numb. then we headed for warm drinks and a late breakfast at distrikt in berlin mitte.

later in the day we revisited checkpoint charlie and brandenburger tor. we took the obligatory pictures at the sights and meet up with my friend for dinner at fes turkish bbq. the meat was served raw. we were instructed on how to grill it and had a blast bbq-ing indoors.

all in all a great day with the loveliest people. I could not ask for better company or food as a matter of fact, and was overwhelmed with joy at the end of the night. it feels good to be me right now. I am just so grateful for the people in my life.
