The perfect cake for the road
My family decided to visit the netherlands on the occasion of Koninginnedag or as we might call it: queensday. Excited about the roadtrip as I always am my mum and I made a cake for the road - a cake that one can enjoy without plates and forks. Without further ado: Happy queensday (2morrow) and enjoy making this rich and soft cake with a humble but aphrodisiac smell: The Marble Cake
To do so, just put half a handful of flour in the pan and spread it around by "hitting" the bottom of it over and over.
3. Add the eggs one at a time to the mixture (about 30sec. for each egg) and round it up with the rum flavoured aroma.
4. Carefully start adding the flour (which needs to be sifted together with the baking powder) at low speed.
Now you can put about 2/3 of the mixture into the prepared tin.
5. The rest you are going to mix with the cocoa and milk aswell as the liquid chocolate (which you will end up with using hot water bath).
6. Next fill in the rest of the flour mixture into the pan. At this point you'll realize how sticky it is which is the reason for a good preparation of the tin.
7. Place the cake into your preheaded oven and let it bake for 60 minutes at 175° C (although the time might vary...)
8. Let it cool for 10-20 min before you take it out of the pan.

125ml milk
2 tablespoon cocoa (when using it:mix with 3 tablespoons water)

- Butter the cake pan through and through and sprinkle it with flour (otherwise you will have troubles taking the cake out at the end).
To do so, just put half a handful of flour in the pan and spread it around by "hitting" the bottom of it over and over.
2. Now start by mixing the butter (which is as always at roomtemperature) and add the sugar.
3. Add the eggs one at a time to the mixture (about 30sec. for each egg) and round it up with the rum flavoured aroma.
4. Carefully start adding the flour (which needs to be sifted together with the baking powder) at low speed.
